TH16 War Base Layouts with Copy Links

33 layouts · Classified from the copy link itself — every layout below loads into this slot.

Every layout on this page is saved in the war base slot, and its copy link loads there when you open it. That is read from the link itself, not guessed — so nothing here will land on top of your home village by accident.

When you use a war base

Your war base is the layout that defends you in Clan Wars and in the Clan War Leagues. It is a separate layout from the one you play with day to day, and it only matters during a war attack. Because there are no resources at stake, a war base is not trying to protect loot — it is trying to cost the attacker stars. An attacker earns one star for destroying your Town Hall, one for reaching 50% destruction, and a third for taking the whole base, so where the Town Hall sits and how hard the last few percent are to reach is what a war layout is really about.

How the copy link works

Press the copy button on any layout and the link opens Clash of Clans and loads that arrangement into your war base editor. Nothing is saved until you confirm, and your home village layout is left untouched. Buildings you have not unlocked yet simply are not placed, which leaves gaps you can fill in as you upgrade.

Choosing one for TH16

Layouts here are ordered by community rating, weighted so that a base with two or three votes cannot jump ahead of one that has held a good score across many. You can also sort the full TH16 feed by how often a layout has been copied in the last seven days, which is a better signal of what people are actually using right now. Whichever you pick, treat it as a starting point: copy it, then adjust traps and clan castle placement to suit how your own wars tend to go.

TH16 War base layouts — frequently asked questions

Will this overwrite my home village layout?

No. A war base link loads into the war base slot, which is a separate layout from your home village. Your village stays exactly as it is.

Can I change a TH16 war base after copying it?

Yes. Copying drops the layout into the editor, where you can move any building, trap or wall before you save it. Many players copy a layout and then move traps around so their base stops behaving the way an attacker expects.

Do I need a different base for Clan War Leagues?

No. Clan War Leagues use the same war base slot as a regular clan war, so a layout you copy from this page is used in both.

Can I use a TH16 layout if my Town Hall is lower?

The link will open, but any building above your own level will not be placed, so you end up with holes in the layout. Browse the feed for your own Town Hall level instead — it will fit what you actually have.
